On Tuesday, my new PSP 3000 arrived in the mail! (^∇^)

I ordered it after Sony’s price reduction lowered it to $129.99. That’s the same price as the DS Lite! PSP is more powerful because it can be used as a media player for movies and music, and also its screen size is over 1 inch larger than the DS’s. Sony lowered its price because it’s about to release a new portable that has touch screen capabilities and other stuff. My DS and iPhone already have touch screens so I don’t care if my PSP doesn’t. (^_^)
Along with this order, I also bought a game: Crisis Core (a final fantasy 7 prequel).
Long before this order, I bought Final Fantasy Tactics WoTL (I was planning on borrowing a friend’s PSP to play it…), so that is the first game I’ll play on it.

Learning Japanese with DS

This afternoon, I spent some time practicing my Japanese kanji using my DS Lite. The DS is perfect for learning how to write in a language because of its touch screen. The game I use for practicing kanji is called “200 man nin no kanken” and is only available in Japanese. The menus take some time to figure out but it’s not difficult. However, some background in Japanese is required to do the training materials. I was able to successfully learn all of the lowest level kanjis and I’m starting to do the next level. Anyway, it’s a great tool for learning and retaining what you learned.
This is my cute DS:
I got the skin from eBay.

It’s a game show where contestants have to manipulate their bodies in order to fit into different shapes. These always make me laugh.
