I just got back from the Matt Nathanson concert at downtown San Jose. I hadn’t heard of him before so I was pretty impressed with his music! Also it was free! How great is that?

Today at work I got an email informing of the passing away of someone from a project I used to do testing for. It was shocking because she wasn’t that old, just over 50. In the email I thought the sender was kind of rude when she commented that she hopes it wasn’t caused by the over-working that many people in this organisation are subjected to. I need to maintain my stress / blood pressure levels better. For 4 months now I’ve been really stressed out.

Since my work schedule is becoming stable again, I’m gonna start making food at home again. Today’s lunch is smoked salmon hand rolls. Basically I only cooked the rice so it was super easy.

Last weekend my face got really sunburnt. It’s to be expected when you don’t get any sun for 2 months and then spend a whole day outdoors. The worst of the peeling is over so I’m not too afraid to be in public anymore.
