Everything costs so much now. I’m low on gas already and gas prices have rose to 3.89, last I’ve seen. I need to find a way to save on money with the most minimal sacrifice. I’m thinking.. to balance out the increase in gas price, I can cut costs in the groceries department. Even if I cook more, it can still be expensive based on the ingredients. Some frozen dinners are cheap but I don’t want to eat those since I still care about my health. Every week I’ve been buying fruits that I can eat everyday. So lately, I’ve been having one fuji apple a day. Those apples were expensive to begin with.. I buy them because I’m very picky about the condition of apples. But now, I may have to switch to a different fruit. This week I chose bananas. They are half the price per pound. Today I spent 20 bucks on groceries already. :( I went to the nearby asian store to buy snackfood, meat marinade sauces (excited to make my own teriyaki chicken), some pastry dessert for lunch, a bag of candy, and seaweed sushi wrap. I keep forgetting to buy rice vinegar! It’s been like 3 months already since it ran out. My recent expenditures also include the scrap pages I’ve been printing. Each batch of photos is between 10 and 15 bucks so it adds up pretty quick. I’ve just ordered another batch today from Snapfish, but I think this may be my last one for a while. Unless I can get some free prints or something. ;)   I also was planning to head up to Sac to hang out with Elaine, but I don’t think I should anymore. I’ll be going up there the next weekend for sure, so it would be a lot of driving if I went this weekend. I feel bad about cancelling though. :(
